At the same time you will experience that your effectiveness will grow once you start to attach less importance to yourself and you subordinate your self-interests to the interests of others, without compromising on strength and individuality.

This disposition is achieved through a thorough understanding of who you are, what motivates you and how you are inclined to act. Without these insights, you will not be able to align your behaviour to the needs of those around you and your leadership style would merely be a trick that will slip you through your fingers the moment ‘shit hits the fan’. Therefore, in order to help others develop as well as yourself, you will deepen your self-insight and improve your self-regulation.
