Skill set
In order to act as a servant leader, you have a toolbox of skills at your disposal. These you use to 1) set out a course, 2) foster a constructive dialogue about this course and 3) reach mutual agreement. Three groups of skills can therefore be identified: steering, connecting and communicative ones that reinforce each other when used at the right time, in conjunction and in balance with each other. Because it is through the integral use of these skills you create the conditions in which the system (individual, team, organisation, society) can develop further.
